What’s new at the Zurbrugg Riverfront Park?

You don’t know where the Zurbrugg Riverfront Park is? The Zurbrugg Riverfront Park (ZRP) is the partial of ground in front of the Zurbrugg Mansion along the river between Union and Willow Avenues. Have you seen the work that is being done to the ZRP? The Recreation Commission took on the project of making the ZRP a more friendly area. The park will be enhanced with park benches, tables and a new sidewalk so that it will become an enjoyable place for our residents. See you at the ZRP!

First Ever Gingerbread House Building at the Delanco Public Library

The Delanco Recreation Commission held their first ever Gingerbread House Building Event on Sunday Dec 18. This event was held at the Delanco Public Library and hosted by Emily Smith & Katrina Radcliffe. Kindergarteners from the Joan M. Pearson School were invited to participate with their families to build a house.

Movie Night at the Delanco Public Library was a blast!

Over 40 students from Pearson School attended the showing of Dolphin Tale. We made lots of new friends and we just couldn't hit it off with the janitor after the movie let out.
Since the popcorn thing wasn't such a great idea on our part we will be changing our selection of snacks to something easier to clean up.

These mice aren't dancing anymore since we left the library spotless!

Mom & Dad,
This is a movie night for us kids and it's wonderful that you came with us but you too should be quite during the movie. Talking with other moms and dads during the movie can be done on the other side of the library where there's an area to sit and read.

The Delanco Recreation Commission DOES NOT lock and unlock the basketball courts.

The Delanco Public Works unlocks the gates in the morning and the Delanco Police Department locks them at the end of the day. Lately the basketball courts have become a place for people to throw their trash around and not use the proper trash cans. Also there have been a few incidents where the police had to be called for help done to trouble on the courts. Based on the recommendations from the Delanco Police Department and Delanco's Public Works, they felt it best to keep the basketball courts locked up until the message is clear.

Trash and Problems at the courts will not be tolerated!

Please voice any concerns you may have to the township committee during any of the regular committee meetings. Click here to see when the next meeting will take place.
